life with sticks in one's head

In honor of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s decision to present the Paradigm Award to Sunoco CEO Lynn Elsenhans

Composed for the occasion, two limericks, of which I had time to read only one before being escorted from the premises:

1) There once was a greedy CEO

who cared not for the workers in tow

She was cheap, she exploited

and now she’s being rewarded.

‘Cause it was all for her own pile of dough?

2) There once was a woman named Lynn

who endangered our community with a grin.

She fired our workers

and used dangerous old chemicals

To abuse our fair city a’gin and a’gin
